This case study explores the design and implementation of the Innovative Financial Mechanism under the BRIDGE Project, a market-oriented initiative of the Sangha Tri-National Foundation (FTNS) that aims to harmonize wildlife conservation with economic growth in the vicinity of Lobéké National Park (LNP).

The main innovation consists of the Conservation Trust Fund (CTF) shifting from a mere grant manager to an active financial facilitator.
This BRIDGE pilot project provides an evolutionary roadmap for other CTFs, demonstrating that financial inclusion is only sustainable when combined with technical production support and strong cooperative governance.
