Mentoring is a learning and teaching practice that enables the organizational growth of conservation trust funds (CTFs).

The exchange of experiences among peers, despite differing contexts, streamlines the design and adjustment processes, allowing innovative ideas to be put into practice through more efficient resource management. Although these are not step-by-step formulas, the questions raised are common during the design phases and the development of financial instruments or mechanisms aimed at achieving high social, environmental, and economic impact. These mechanisms often involve “blended financing,” a strategy combining public, private, and/or philanthropic funds to achieve sustainable development goals and attract and mobilize the private sector.
