Guyana’s Protected Areas Trust (PAT), which is the country’s only National Conservation Trust Fund, is a key partner of the government’s Low Carbon Development Strategy. We are working tirelessly to ensure the continued protection of Guyana’s important biological diversity and natural resources to mitigate and adapt to climate change through this economic transition. We are also directing efforts to engage the private sector in funding the conservation of Guyana’s protected areas and expand our impact.
