Guyana\u2019s Protected Areas Trust (PAT), which is the country\u2019s only National Conservation Trust Fund, is a key partner of the government\u2019s Low Carbon Development Strategy. We are working tirelessly to ensure the continued protection of Guyana\u2019s important biological diversity and natural resources to mitigate and adapt to climate change through this economic transition. We are also directing efforts to engage the private sector in funding the conservation of Guyana\u2019s protected areas and expand our impact.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n Thanks to initiatives such as RedLAC and BRIDGE, we have been able to exchange knowledge \nand learn about best practices and challenges from other CTFs in the region. Last year we \nwere mentored by PROFONAPE, a CTF based in Peru to improve our communications and \nstorytelling skills, which was a positive experience for us. <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
