What if storytelling could change the way we protect nature? This case study explores the mentorship exchange between Profonanpe, a leading environmental fund in Peru, and the Protected Areas Trust (PAT) – Guyana’s only National Conservation Trust Fund – facilitated by the BRIDGE Mentorship Program.
The collaboration aimed to strengthen PAT’s communication strategies to engage stakeholders – particularly the private sector – in conservation efforts. The program delivered valuable tools and insights through online training, a field trip to the Kanuku Mountains Protected Area, and practical mentorship in storytelling, campaign design, and sponsorship management.
